FAM ´09 is just the tip of the iceberg of an ambitious and innovative initiative regarding the music, the future, the human rights and the new economy based on creativity, innovation and knowledge.
For three days -November 25, 26 and 27th- top international speakers representing the core members and institutions from the new music and creative industry as well as relevant political personalities will gather in Madrid (Hotel Villamagna and Casino Madrid).
The vision for FAM
FAM is an ambitious non-profit initiative of AIE, entity of management of intellectual property rights of musical artists (www.aie.es). With this initiative, coinciding with his 20th anniversary and from an integration and open innovation outlook, AIE aims to:
· Discuss the future of music and generate new opportunities for creating value for the cultural industry.
· Look for new business models for the musical contents.
· Promote the dialogue among all players from a harmonious and balanced perspective between various interests
· Study the effect of the increasing relevancy of the users’ role as well as the new role of performers and artists.
· Encourage talent and entrepreneurial spirit in the new music industry.
· Identify key areas for politics development that will favor and promote the creation of new scenarios.
· Propose solutions for managing intellectual property rights that will contribute effectively and proactively to consolidate this new industry.
· Generate key knowledge that will bring the future and the opportunities to reinvent the music forward.
The future
